Welcome to Simple Visa Solutions! This blog is written by Emily Wells, a Taiwanese/British national. Emily holds a BA in German Literature from Fu-Jen University in Taiwan, a BA (Hons) in law from the University of Law in the United Kingdom, and a MA in International Relations from the Unversity of Nottingham.
Received a British Chevening scholarship from the British Council in 2005, Emily commenced her study journey in the UK. Subsequently, Emily commenced her law conversion course and legal practice course at the University of Law in the United Kingdom and received a distinction for her legal practice course. Emily has worked in international politics, HSBC Capital (Canada) and the world’s leading immigration law firm, Fragomen LLP as the Client Services Executive at the Global Investor Immigration Services Team. Emily has experience of assisting more than one hundred investors’ visa applications to the UK Border Agency and helping investors settling down in the UK and their further UK visa applications for indefinite leave to remain.
Since the UK immigration law is complex and changes regularly, the Simple Visa Solutions blog aims to provide up-to-date UK immigration law in both English and Mandarin.
