How to apply a Tier 1(entrepreneur) visa to the UK Border Agency? 如何向英國邊境局申請第1級（企業家）簽證？
Aiming at attracting more business talents to invest in the UK, the UK Border Agency has set up one special visa category for those types of business specialists, namely the entrepreneur visas.
The visa applicants must fulfill the following requirements outlined in section A for applying an entry visa:
Section A: ENTRY VISA
1. UK investments
a) You must show that the full amount of £200,000, or of £50,000 if appropriate, in cash has been invested in business in the United Kingdom, or;
b) You must show the evidence of £200,000, or £50,000 available for investment in business in the United Kingdom, or;
c) If you enter the category as an entrepreneur team, each team member must show the evidence of £100,000 each for investment in business in the United Kingdom.
2. English language ability:
You must demonstrate that you possess requested English language ability, you will meet the requirement if:
a) You have an UK graduate degree, or
b) You are a national of an English speaking country, or
c) Your English ability reaches B1 level, which is equivalent of ILTES 4*.
3. Maintenance
You also need to demonstrate that you have sufficient funds in your and/or your dependant’s bank account(s) for consecutive 90 days. The bank bank statements or reference must be issued no more than 1 month when you apply.
a) Applying from outside the UK, £3,100 for the main applicant and £1,800 for the dependant;
b) Applying from inside the UK, £900 for the main applicant and £600 for the dependant (or £1,800 for the dependant if he/she has been in the UK for less than 12 months);
*The new rule concerning the lower ILTES result will commence on 13 December 2012.*
Note: Buying residential properties cannot count as investment in UK business; therefore investment in property management is restricted. However investment in construction business is unrestricted.
The visa applicants must fulfill the following requirements in section B for applying an extension visa:
Section B: VISA EXTENSION
a) Provide evidence of your investment in the UK, and;
b) Registered as a director or as self-employed within 6 months of entering to the UK, and;
c) Engaging in business activity by providing registration with HMRC or registered as a director of a new business or of an existing business, and;
d) The entrepreneur must fulfill his tax obligation, and;
e) The entrepreneur must create the equivalent of two extra full-time paid jobs for at least two people who
are settled in the UK and those jobs must have existed for at least 12 months each, and;
f) English language, and;
g) Maintenance fund.
為了吸引更多的商業人才在英國投資，英國邊境局成立一個特殊的簽證類別，也就是企業家簽證。
申請入境簽證，簽證申請人必須符合以下A部份要求：
A部分：入境簽證
1. 英國投資
a） 提出近12 個月已經投資英國企業的證據，金額為20萬英鎊，或5萬英鎊（如適用），或;
b） 提供20萬英鎊，或5萬英鎊可用於在英國的投資業務的存款證據; 或
c） 如果您選擇企業家團隊團隊的類別，則必須出示的具有10萬英鎊的金額，並可用以投資英國的企業，你的企業夥伴也必須提出10萬英鎊
2. 英語能力：
你必須證明你有足夠的英語水平，你必須滿足以下條件之一：
a）你有一個英國的大學以上學位，或
b）你具有一個講英語的國家的國籍，或
c）你的英語水平達到B1級，相當於ILTES 4 *。
3. 財力證明：您還需要證明在您和(或)您的家屬的銀行帳戶有足夠的以下資金，此資金必須在銀行存連續90日, 存款證明的出示日期必須在你申請簽證日期的1個月內:
a) 申請者自英國以外申請，主申請人的存款須不少於 £3,100, 家屬則須有£1,800的資金證明;
b) 申請者自英國境內申請, 主申請人的存款須不少於 £900, 家屬則須有 £600的資金證明（如果家屬在英國不到12個月則須有 £1,800資金）。
*新的ILTES成績規則將於2012年12月13日實施。
注：在英國購買住宅物業不算在英國企業投資的條件之內，所以投資在物業管理上是受限制的。然而，如果你投資的是房地產建築公司, 那就仍可算為企業投資。
申請延簽，簽證申請人必須符合以下B部份要求：
B部份：延簽要求
a）提供您在英國的投資證據;
b）進入英國的6個月內，登記為公司董事或自僱人士;
c）提供從事商業活動的證據，例如提供向皇家稅務局登計為公司董事的證明，;
d）創業者必須履行在英國的納稅義務;
e）企業家必須額外雇用相當於兩個全職有薪工作的員工, 這兩名必須定居於英國, 每份工作必須維持至少12個月，;
f）英語能力;
g）財力證明。
